Acquisition Adds Market-Leading Vehicle Repair Status Application to Audatex Product Suite
San Diego, CA (September 7, 2011) - Audatex North America, Inc., a leading provider of software and services to the automobile insurance claims processing and collision repair industry, today announced that it has purchased See Progress, Inc., a Michigan-based provider of AutoWatch™, a proven solution for vehicle repair status.
With the acquisition of See Progress, Audatex has enhanced its product suite by adding a market-leading vehicle repair status application that provides a compelling value proposition for both collision repair shops and insurers.
AutoWatch leverages a unique and patented workflow that provides collision repair shops the ability to show customers the progress of vehicle repairs via their website, by email or through a text message. By offering this service, collision repair shops can realize a substantial decrease in vehicle repair-related customer inquiries, resulting in lower administrative costs. Insurers benefit as well, as AutoWatch also enables appraisers to complete supplement approvals via a shop’s website, eliminating delays and improving vehicle repair cycle time. The combination of enhanced communication and reduced cycle time ultimately leads to higher customer satisfaction and loyalty—key success factors for insurers and collision repair shops.
